Writing Update: Changing a Name

I am going to posit the argument that coming up with just the right title for your book is harder than writing the book itself. Why? Because it has to convey the appropriate sentiment, it has to be attention-catching, it can’t have been used before, and so on. The last one is the most difficult, I think.
In some ways, I’m lucky that no agent has shown interest in my project yet. I haven’t begun to query my edited version—the final version that I’m not going to edit or touch again—so I still have the freedom to call my book whatever I want at the moment. I had my heart set on The Lady of Worlds as you know from my previous post, but it doesn’t work now that I know for sure that my project is a duology and I know what happens in the second book.
So I am changing it—along with all of the codes on this site—to reflect the new title of the Book 1 as well as adding the name of the duology. That being said, allow me to introduce (hopefully without any more changes):
The Sacred Gate Duology
A Prophecy of Crimson Flames (Book 1)
TBA (Book 2)
